I am running into a wall as of late regarding 157 staffs. I need as many as I can get my hands on as I have several Quadrons that need help. Recently, while on the Swamp, I made a purchase of what I "thought" was staffs for a 157. Well, they arrived, and two od them could have passed for a Gruen/Lavina 707, and the other perhaps, a 157. I always try to come to the Forum as a last resort as I do not want to burden anyone, but I am starting to really get hammered with watch work, and need all the help I can get.
So, do we have any pushers/takers/swappers/sellers in Gruendom?
Warmest to all and a Happy Thanksgiving ta boot!
Tomas

MAINSPRING 1.40-.12-320 9,5 and is part number MS-5595M
Gruen listed the spring as being 1.45x.12x330 which is pretty darn close.]]>JackW2014-11-27T19:54:22-00:00Re: Gruen 157

Yeah, I got the same part number today when I looked up the staff. The sight must be having issues because I could not order these. Will try tomorrow when they are open again. Thanks a ton for the input, though.
Warmest to All!!!
