A fine style! This one has a broken mainspring. I also have the men's version of style number 1 (705/1), which doesn't resemble this watch at all.

Were these getting names in 1925?

Nope, first names appeared 1929...
In 1925 they still had just names describing the outline, this was called the "Paris Square". Should be WR83 then.

Gruen, Gruen, Gruen ist alles was ich habe... Gruen, Gruen, Gruen is all I have...(German folklore song)

Interesting! Can you post a pic of the mans variant? Always curious what the style numbers denoted. Not often we get two notably different watches to compare.

My two caveats:
1) I'm wrong many times a day --just ask my wife!
2) Always seeking to learn more

Okay. I'll take pictures today and make a new thread.

Side question: why is that photo attachment size limit 1.5 MB in some of our forums and 2 MB in others? (This is also why all of my new threads with pictures are going to be in the ID thread, even when I know what they are: the size limit is bigger.)
