I've tried twice now to order bands from International Watchman. I've left messages without a return call in the past. A couple of weeks ago I placed a large phone order and used my credit card. No order was placed. Yes I could call the guy and ask but have gotten frustrated with the service.

Are there any other watch band vendors? I'm looking for a vendor that has 1920 era like and open-end wire lug bands.

Thanks in advance!
Gary

I used this place once: http://www.girards.com/ Interesting but limited choices including vintage stuff.

Time, even vintage time, goes too fast for my tastes.

The IW guy seems to be a one man show. I've never placed an order other than by talking to him. No, IW definitely doesn't have much in the way of customer service, but I think it's a trustworthy outfit if you can actually reach him.

I once stumbled upon Cousins UK looking for cordette watch straps. Don't now if they have the straps you're looking for.

Uh, Ron recently went through a frozen pipe issue in his store,(flooded his place) and the city officials closed his place up for a few weeks. Also, to compound the issue, the huge glass window in front of his store shattered due to the frigid conditions. Yep, he may be hard to get in contact with, but he does have a good product line and I was pleased with my first shipment. It is exactly as Afire said.
