Does anyone know what happened at gruenwristwatches.com? All the books for sale have been removed. All the references to Mike Barnett have been removed. All Lulu book sales by Mike Barnett have been removed. Mike's new book is gone. Does anyone have any info about this?

Thanks,

I was wondering the same. I wanted to buy the latest Master Book version and 1927 catalog and couldn't figure out how to do so.

I don't see any of his listings on ebay either.

Hmmm strange. It almost looks like he vanished for a second time🤔

I guess we will hear at some point what is going on.

He's not responding to email either...

About a month ago Bruce Shawkey mentioned to me that Mike is wanting to sell all his stuff relating to watches.

Mike told me that he would take a brake from his Gruen activities. That's all I know...

Update from Mr Barnett... "I'm getting emails from people saying they read I'm not answering emails, have disappeared, etc. Can you please spread the word in case there's some mixup somewhere? Alive and well, still on email."

So, what happened to Mike, anyway? Did he get sick or something? Hope not!

Not sure but it seems he has stepped away from the website / watch business for a while. Maybe just recharging his batteries/enthusiasm.

Ahh, ok, that makes sense. One needs to decompress from time to time.
