I am currently in Paris and I can't hear anything either. Wish I head time to prepare at least a few calendar sheets...

I think some folks are recovering from March Madness. Others have recovered from Cabin Fever and in springtime they are out and about.

Today we released 200 fry chum salmon on their life long journey to the sea.

A very hungry boy (blue heron) showed up wanting to have a little lunch. He wasn't shy.

Here's something to make you wish you could forget how to read. The other night I woke up from a dream about Gruen watches. In my bizarre dream, I was reading a book about Gruen watch cases. On several pages there were partial cases and decorative elements pictured, some of them extraordinarily detailed and complex. I recognized some of them as parts of the more ornate Import cases, while other pieces were entirely figments of my imagination. I couldn't figure out why these bits and pieces even existed. Then I "realized" that the author (Cary Hurt) must have located the original Weber factory and obtained remnants of works in progress.

I think this was my weirdest Gruen dream to date, but certainly not my first.

Afire.... That one is out there. I've gotta agree with Monty on this one. Speaking of dreamy stuff... Now did you see what Bruce posted?

Two days later and I can still see these pieces plain as day. I also have had recurring dreams for several years about a couple of extraordinary Art Deco solid gold Quadron cases in my parts drawer (always in a decorative cabinet I got rid of years ago in my last move). In my dreams I know the dials are around somewhere, but I never find them. In real life I don't even buy a watch a year. Evidently my obsession finds its own outlet when I close my eyes. Laughing

I can still see these pieces I dreamt about. One of them is like a narwhal tusk, spiral shaped, presumably intended to decorate the bezel edges (can't say for certain since they were loose pieces in my dreams). I really need a first-rate Swiss case factory to make my imaginary case designs a reality.

Now that listens really good. However I have a daughter that lives in Wisconsin and I visit her occasionally and indeed back in the 80's I lived there for three years. So I speak with first hand knowledge about men in Wisconsin. Who are you and what have you done with Afire? Men of Wisconsin really only converse on three subjects, How many Walleye did you catch, When will the ice break and how many games will the Packers win this year. More likely you are confusing the Narwhal Tusk with swirls in the water created by that Sturgeon while ice fishing !!

We also talk about beer. But I may be an outlier with the dreams about Art Deco Swiss watch case elements.

Personally I hope your dream comes true. Perhaps then you will grow weary of the watch in your avatar and pass it along to a new home, MINE.

Nah, Tomas lives in my neck of the woods where I lived my youth. I helped take care of many heifer holsteins. Car insurance was cheap, $60 per year, cheap because we were too busy milking and doing field work in between. Ever get hit with a cattle prod? Shocked Climb a 100ft silo and stomp down the corn mash? Surprised

The owner once cussed out the fire chief for blowing his whistle by the barn as we were milking. Not only were we covered in sh*t, our milk production went down by half. We used to sell non-pasteurized milk to the locals. We got banned years later for doing so, never had milk that tasted so good. Crying or Very Sad

Those days are gone but I would go back to it in a heartbeat if I could!
