Hand engraved case "rails" sides and back, hard-fired enamel inlay between the lugs, similar to a couple of Cincinnati-cased Quadron models with the same case details. The listing for Tank 13 in the Master Book shows a different case, also 18k engraved, but a different pattern with no enamel, and this case doesn't show up at all, which initially had me thinking it might be uncatalogued. But then I looked in the 1927 Stock Record Book, and sure enough, there it is listed as Tank 13. I've noticed this with a few models.

The tank in black, I could picture Johnny Cash wearing that one. ;-)

What brand is that band?

Sorry, RSTW, but this is actually RSTPW's watch. At least that's my best guess. Looks like a combined T and P to me.

International Watchman. "Premium Pig Skin 1940's" is the style. Most of the sizes no longer have the white stitching, but they still have the squared off stitched ends for the right vintage look. I wish more makers offered this style of stitching. About the only other straps I see in this style are the gigantic sports staps, 24-26mm, thicker than most of my watches.

You should be correct with the monogram. It's a shame, that watch should be mine Sad

Anyway it is a beauty. Why cant I have them all? But I may reach my goal to have at least most of the Gruen models, which will be a significant number. The good thing is that my percentage is not single digit anymore already.
