It's a simple improvement, but I think it would be nice to have the option to stay logged in.

I don't have the issue. Double check your settings.

I'm not seeing an option regarding that setting. This site makes me sign back in every 5-6 days saying my cookie has expired.

Still here....

Don't have that problem either. Maybe a browser setting.

But it is true, the cookie expires after a while. I think expanding that time period will help.

I dont think it is anything with my settings or my browser. This seems to be the only site i frequent that i have this issue with. It may be the cookie itself and as moderators/admins you may be immune to it.

Still here....

Duh. I just realized what's happening. When I log in on a different computer or device, it logs me out of any others. That's sort of an inconvenience, as I split my browsing time between an iPhone, iPad and desktop. Most forums seem to allow you to stay logged in on multiple devices.

Cookie expiration setting is approx. 70 days. So a bit strange you're frequency is once a week. Do you use different browsers on that same computer?
