Staff in that Quadron I bought needs to be replaced. Caliber 157.

Anyone got one they'd be willing to part with?

I have a drawer of Newall parts and the chart says that the staff in bottle 74 will fit a 157. If you want it, it is yours free of charge. Send me a PM with your address and I'll ship it out.

If it doesn't work, I can take a look. I've probably got staffs in a bottle that's labeled 157, but whether they really are...

If all other options fall through, I can find a Gruen made on here somewhere. I would guess Jules Borel will also have them made to the right dimensions.

The staff that Jason sent is the correct fit. Thank you all!

You are most welcome Jack. I bought that entire tray of Newall parts at a local watch mart for $10 because you never know when you'll need something. I'm delighted that it was able to help bring a Gruen back to life.

The Alpina I bought needs a new staff. Same as the cal 157. It was roughly handled in shipping I'm guessing. Seller said it was working when sold.

Borel "says" they have them... http://www.julesborel.com/s.nl/it.A/id.22919/.f
Cousins is listing as not available and balancestaffs.com has them as custom order only.
I have one from Twin Cities, but I am not sure the roller table seat is the right diameter.

Anyone have a stash that they are willing to part with one? Again.
