Last day of winter clock class and one of the previous instructors brought in a 6mm lathe setup that I was interested in seeing. Be careful in what you ask for...


A 6mm long bed dual head Lorch & Schmidt setup. In the box a somewhat complete Lorch & Schmidt 6mm set. 1 6mm short bed, the head can be offset for cutting tapers and such. The other newer short bed has an 8mm head, bonus! Some extra odd size 6mm wax collets and various odd size 6mm collects were in the box. Some extra face plates and a cheap 6mm 3-jaw chuck.

Finally large dovetail table was thrown in for good measure, heavy! Probably used for precision drilling.

I'm now a junkie for sure. This will keep me entertained for quite a long time. Very Happy
