Spotted this old eBay auction and thought it worth entering here. Mercifully, I didn't spot it when it was on eBay, because I wouldn't have been able to keep myself from going after it. Oddly, it doesn't quite grab me the way some do. I feel like the articulated lugs are too big or somehow not proportionate. I guess I'd have to see it with a leather band to know for sure.

What a beauty! Love that watch!
And I agree, I think it will look even better with a nice leather strap.

Thanks, but I didn't find it. Very Happy
But if I had, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to afford it.

And it can even be tracked down to a famous owner running a pipeline company and having been the president of the PIEA which later became the ENTELEC.

Hence my comment about it being merciful that I missed it myself. I couldn't have afforded it either, but by I know darned well I would have engineered some clever excuse that would have permitted me to bid well above my means. Laughing
