I was looking for replacement blades on Otto Frei. I noticed the website changed and the stock they used to hold for crystals and other watch material is gone, gone.

Well, I ended up over a Jules Borel and made a shopping spree there.

I don't see any reason to go back to Otto, pretty much dust in the wind.

Cheers!

Huh. I just checked it out and it looks about the same as ever to me, including CRYSTALS and GRUEN PARTS. I'm not saying it hasn't changed, but I'm not seeing anything major.

Geez, Makes me wonder why folks get lost or tangled up in the web. Try to get there from here: http://www.ottofrei.com/home.php

Thanks afire!

Looks like they've set up two different sites depending on your needs. Have a look at the 2nd paragraph in this link that i use.

Time, even vintage time, goes too fast for my tastes.

Yes but if google on ottofrei or otto frei you get the jewelers link. Anyway, they lost my business this round, probably for good unless they have an obscure part that Jules doesn't have.

Right, now that you point that out, I've done that before. Frei and borel, jules borel, ofrei, otto frei. It's all fairly confusing.

ofrei's site is confusing. I think they are used to dealing with a clientele that doesn't interface them via the web. I had a parts question the other day and instead of answering via email (how I contacted them) they asked that I call them. Confused
