I may have a 406; certainly a 405 and almost all parts will interchange between the two (escape wheel and associated jewels don't). What are you up to?
Basically I got so focused on the rusted stem and clutch assembly, that I did what to most is a cardinal sin! I forgot to remove the balance assembly...........completely, but I got that stem out and removed all the rust. Still, I snapped the staff, and then got sick about it! I haven't busted a stem in a very, very long time. (at least one that I will admit to) Lol!!!!
