Posted on your request for help on the VWF. But basically your case should be repairable. Just need to find someone in your area; look for a jeweler with in-house goldsmiths. Avoid chain-stores that offer repairs as often these are not the best trained people doing the work or the repair is done at a central location where you cannot talk directly with the person doing the repairs.

All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me
