Yellow part box with 12 compartments for stems and other bits. I have a dozen more boxes of various Gruen calibers.

Period: 1930 (guess)
Watch type: Various calibers
Size: 8.5 x 7.5 cm
Inventor: Unknown
Patents: Unknown

Box maker: I don't believe this is a Gruen in house box. There are other boxes that have calibers like the series 57 which refers to Swartchild. However I looked through several of their catalogs and found no such box.

That strikes me as a repackaging circa, 1950s in the aftermarket of older Gruen parts kits.

All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me
