Hello! I need a subseconds hand for a Gruen Calendar 415CA

looking for a gold/gilded hand, I believe the diameter is 0.16mm

Only lead I could find is the 415CA shares the same escape wheel as the 415. Which most likely means you use any sub-second hand from a 415. Reference Gruen 1970's Material Catalog. Although the 415 hand might be shorter in length.

Do you have a reference image of the style you want?

Thank you all for the great info!

I’ve attached a picture of an exact example of what I need.

Much appreciated

I don't think that the second hand you have is original. Every Gruen I can see in the reference books I have with a subseconds chapter, the hand has a tail. The reference image for your watch is unfortunately blurry and cannot discern the hand. So I am extrapolating.

I've looked through my subs and I'm lacking. Per that interchange information that Gary mentioned, the 415 subs hand will interchange with the calibers 311, 330, 335, 405, 415, 430, 440, 431, 435, 460, 470.

I have a 510 subs that is 3-1/2 mm it is gilt. 510 is not on the list though. The 415 sub hands are 1-1/2 mm but nickel. Way too small and wrong color.
