A ship in a harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for...

Salut Laurent,

I'd be happy to buy you a airline ticket. I know you'd enjoy the scenery.

Salut Gary,

Hi Gary,
Thank you very much, but I would not allow myself to accept your offer.
Even if everywhere in the world the landscapes are splendid, your photos are very beautiful. And I confirm to you that it would be a very beautiful playground for me...
I took the time to look at the map, it’s incredible this mountain (Mt Olympus and its park), it’s bigger than my region, and there is nothing within a radius of 100 kms, not a road, not a house !
Me who loves walking in the middle mountains in France (GR20 in Corsica, Tour du Mont Blanc), I would be happy! But it must be a bit dangerous, there must be big wild bears, right ?
With the history of the different wars in Europe (1914-1918, 1939-1945), the French (and I the first one), we all have in mind our 'American dream'. I think that for many French people, America is the ultimate dream.
I had the chance to visit a part of the United States twice, and I’m working hard to go there a 3rd time   ;-)
