Hi, I'm looking for a Gruen Precision Airflight dial that's in great condition possible NOS would be incredible. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been looking for one for a long time. Thanks for any help or advice you may have. Mark

I am a huge fan of the Gruen brand! These are a few of my favorites  :d

Bonjour,
Bonne recherche.

Hello,
In Europe, the Gruen "Air Flight" or "Air Flight super G" is very popular. I have never seen an "Air Flight" dial for sale as a spare part. But I think that with time, and an excellent automated search on specialized sites, you should find.
Indeed, it would be a shame to leave this "Air Flight" like that, especially since its 5 Gruen sisters in your possession are apparently in very good condition.   ;-)
Good research.

Laurent.

Thank you for your feedback I do in fact have ai scanning the web and have actually found one dial but it was the wrong size dimension didn't work finding these are very tough I've been thinking about having the dial not redone but have the few spots repaired and maybe the logo reapplied but I really hate to do anything to the original dial I prefer to leave it up too whoever I eventually end up selling it to someday but not in the near future

Bonjour,
Hier, je me suis mal exprimé.
Bonne continuation.

Hello,
I’m not an expert on dials, but this one is specific to my taste (double dial), I think that leaving it as it was is a plus, but that’s just my opinion (or what I would do if I had an "AirFilght" in the state of yours).
Yesterday, I expressed myself badly. I don’t want to demoralize you, personally, even if I don’t have "AirFlight" yet, if one day I find a double dial in excellent condition, I would buy it anyway...
Just for your information, yesterday at Miller and Miller (Canada), a SUPERB "Super G" (except for the 20mm strape on a 18mm center distance... for the AirFlight ?) went for... 3750 CAD$ x 1.21 selling fees = 4737 CAD$ = 2930 € = 3426 USD ! My heart remained stable during the sale, fortunately my brain told him NO. ;-) But now, I regret...
Have a good one.

Laurent.
