Gruen Apprentice

Hi Friends: I am looking to purchase a Gruen Pan Am watch. I know there are several versions and variations. Preferably gold with a lighter colored face, red second hand, or blue minute / hour hands.

I have basically just been looking on eBay (with alerts set up) for the last year plus. Any info on other suggested sites would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome back. Been a minute.

I've no connection to the seller, fyi... but this one is not a bad deal for a two tone case. Lugs are white and the case body is yellow goldfill. I think it is a Pan Am Pioneer, ca. 1946.

expect to pay another $200 to a watchmaker to make it a daily wear watch.

If you are not in a hurry better deals will pop up, but that might be a while still.
