I've got lots of 210-211 parts but not a working movement... Sad

If originality isn't absolutely important, i believe i have a working 215 though & i think they are interchangeable.

Wish I had enough working spare movements. But same as Mikey I have parts. Where is the problem of your movement?Most likely them movement can be repaired...

Most likely it can be repaired... for a big amount of money. I am not mastering the "find the problem and repair it" skills. Yet.

I'm sure I can come up with 210 and 211's. I bought several once while working on a lady's sweep. Backstory.... I ended up repairing the staff on one, it was my first staffing job that worked! I have 2 pages in my notebook of "YOU DID IT!" along with the date from what I remember Smile

Let me get search through my stock but I'm about 99.999% sure I've got one. As far as interchangeability, the Repairer's Reference has the Balance Completes pulled out and put right at the front of the book, thinking that many times that is the repair. Page 26. I show that the 210, 211, and 212 all have a common balance complete.

Well then, get started on restaffing those puppies! Have any staffs for the 210? If not, let me send you a couple first....

I am not trying to be mean, just pushy. Do you have a staking set? You have very little to lose trying it on one or two of your movements. I don't know where you are in the watch repair spectrum of desire and skill, but it's a growth opportunity as you're quite motivated.

Also, I did look and found a movement for you. So don't worry too much. Be honest about the gear and I will set you those staffs.

Oh, wait! I'm a moron. The movement isn't for you, right Mikey? It's for Jenneke. You're the helpful person, not the helpless ;-)
Helpless Jenneke, do you need full 210 movements or do you too have some to be repaired?
I like the watch, by the way.

Yes the movement is for Jenneke and no, restaffing is not a skill i have acquired to date & nor do i have a staking set. My full time job keeps getting in the way of spending time tearing apart watches...for now. When i retire in 5 yrs hopefully that situation will change.... Smile

That and my side activities stop me getting the repairing skills. I master the cal 640 taking apart part though. Except a mainspring screw, I will come back to that one someday. Very Happy
