Hi All,
While I myself am not a collector of watches, I am however a collector of stamps. Some of which I am now getting rid of for financial reasons. I have in my possession quite a rare stamp- a Scott C14 Zeppelin stamp, flown on the first Pan America Zeppelin flight.. The reason I am posting this here first, before I put it up for auction, is its' connection to the Gruen Watch Co. It is a picture postcard from 1930 with a picture of the Gruen Watch Makers Guild, Time Hall, Cincinnati on the front. It is addressed to a Mr. H. Kochendörfer, C/O Gruen Watch Co., Cincinnati, Ohio and is signed Geof. Gruen.
The text reads 'My greetings go via' and then in German 'Sind in Nord Amerika'.
As the C14 stamp is less common on a postcard these postcards are selling on ebay for between 350- 600- dollars. If anyone on this forum is interested in buying this from me I would be willing to accept 450- for the item.

please excuse me for interrupting your forum but I am sure, as a collector myself, someone my find this information interesting, even if they do not wish to purchase the said item. If anyone is interested in buying from me then just reply and I will forward all the necessary details.
That said, I wish you all a nice day and interesting times.

Declan Rynne

Very cool! Thanks for sharing images of this cool post card. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Jack. I will leave it here for another few days' and then move it onto a stamp forum or ebay. Just thought I would like to give some of you guys s first option on it, so to speak. The stamps or not particularly hard to come by but they are quite expensive. Sieger at 650- euro, but can be picked up for less. The postcard and its' topic I have no idea about but figured someone here might be interested in having it. Cheers
