Some nice Gruen watches Nookster is letting go of, one can be used as a weapon. ;-)

Quite an interesting modification.

Thanks for the tip. I borrowed money from my wife to buy one. Will post about it once I've got it.

Got pictures of it in the morning and dawdled before pulling the trigger. D'oh! Snoozed and lost.

I'm sure you've snagged a few too while someone else was pondering their options.

I will not further discuss until it is in my hands least Mark think he sold it for too little.

I'm sure you don't have to worry about Mark reneging. And I think the price was about right. I sold one a couple years ago and that's about what I got too. Hence my hemming and hawing. I'm glad you snagged it so I don't have to make a decision!

Do you have photos of it? I'll start its own thread when it gets here. I've been unable to find another example of one, but I have no doubts about it. The dial might not be factory original but it might be considering its origin.

The one I had? I do. It's not the same model, but it shares the same two attributes that have you excited about this one. I don't have any doubts about this one either. I highly doubt the dial is original (neither was mine), but I don't consider that a big deal.
