Other info : You can only wear this watch on the side of your wrist. When you're driving it is easy to see the time. Strap size is 13mm. In general this model shows a lot of wear on the lugs. A patent for Gruen's side wrist watch is: US2187205A

No, this one and my ladies ristside are comfortable to wear. I drive a lot. Wink

Even more, I think I bump them less than "normal" watches.

This watch deserved a nice pigskin strap. With one end longer than the other one to get the clasp on the normal spot on your wrist. Something like this (picture from Cary?):

I gave up finding one. But I did pick up a Golfers Pal. This had a continuous strap made from pigskin.

I don't have professional leather tools... but alternatives did the job too.

The steps I took: cut the strap in half, make the end thinner, make is smaller (for the lugs).
