Hi,

That is a very nice watch; it is very collectible, reasonably valuable (price wise) and a quality piece.

There isn't a name to it but it is what was part of the Techniquadron line that Gruen was selling through the mid/late 1920s and into the 1930s. Inside should be the Gruen caliber (movement) #877.
Here is a link to a discussion at another forum on a similar watch with the same caliber movement - http://vintagewatchforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=33224

It is possible that your watch is either the Quadron 73 or 75 depending on the case being gold filled or karat gold. The lack of any apparent wear spots on your watch makes me wonder if it is karat gold.

With you noting that you are in Atlanta, I'm sure that there is a reputable watch maker that can handle any work the watch may need.
