Thanks for everyone's input and the copy of the fantastic ad.
I did find someone here in Roswell, Ga that can service it.
He just opened the back yesterday to identify that it is 14k gold filled.
He also had an appraiser there that gave me a value for insurance purposes. I was surprised they are more valuable than I would have thought.
I made the decision to try to sell it. It has sat in a drawer in my home for many years and now that I find it has a decent value, I would be less inclined to wear it as I am so hard of just regular cheap watches.
Someone will take great pleasure in wearing it and it won't be resigned back to the drawer again. It should be worn.
I think I'll let the buyer choose their own watch person and not do anything to it on my own.
It has stopped a couple of times but this watch has sadly not been serviced in the 30 some years I've had it.
