Howdy Gruenites,

Looking to purchase a CAL 315 mainspring. Then, I'll be selling this one off. PM me if you have one for sale. Also, looking for a pair of gold guilt hands for an early Gruen Curvex CAL 311. I would send pictures, but I sent the case and dial out for re-plating and the dial for a make over. Hey.......I have money and glad to pay!

Timeicker out!

I've silver hands.

Silver? Hmm, problem is that the case is all gold. However, silver and gold are a nice combination. How much?

I'll send you a picture to see if you want them first. You might want to strip the silver off and just blue them.

If you send out the case for replating, you can have the hands done the same time. Normal is 5 Microns only.

I really appreciate all the advice. However. I forgot about the re-plating of the hands, and sent the case off already. I should have looked a little harder prior to making a decision.

Most dial refinishers will also replate hands. I've had International Dial do them in the past.

I might also have appropriate hands if you can tell me the length.

Hey Carey,

Thanks! Jack offered some hands, but not too sure the customer wants blue hands on a white finish with gold numbers. I would prefer the hands to be gold, and thereby not upset a good customer. Still looking for a mainspring, though.
