We just completed an upgrade of the forum software.
The fix that was needed most was the reCAPTCHA v2 support. Hopefully now we will be able to register new users. The mobile optimization feature is quite nice on a cell phone. I used Google Chrome and it displays nicely.
Improvements and fixes
Mobile optimization for small screens (responsive design, CSS3 media queries, etc.)
reCAPTCHA v2 support.
Users can now use mysqli with UNIX sockets and enabling persistent connections.
[Find User] page not loading (URL fixed).
Fix help link in Admin Conrol Panel (it now opens the correct wiki page).
Fix URL to download latest translations from the translatewiki.net website.
The each() function is deprecated in PHP 7.2
