Interesting and unique model! I'd call it a Curvex Marshall from 1944. Value? Depends, but your watch seems to be in an excellent shape and I'd assume that collectors might pay up to $350 for this model.

You might be absolutely correct with your ID. The Curvex Royalty and the Curvex Marshall should be the same cases with different bands. The Royalty came with a leather band and the Marshall with a flex band. I have not looked back to 1941 otherwise I would have seen this. THe reason for not looking back so far in time is that your watch was built in late 1944 / early 1945 and has a silver case instead of the normal base metal under the gold plating.

Hi Matthias,
yes, this is the 50s Curvex Marshall. Gruen reused the name at least two times after the initial model in the 30s. This particular model was at least built from 1950 to 1955.

I see, interesting. It seems the different Marshall' s all have the four large posts in the corners as a design theme.
