A later Guild one of these just showed up: item # 114249656188. Now with 4 adjustments, updated carrier, etc. I’d say ca1922-23, judging by the words & numbers for jewels/adj.

Interesting it doesn’t have a caliber # stamped. Must be an error. I have pics of a 4adj Guild one ca 1921 or early 22 (#s only for jewels & adj), which already has the caliber stamped on plate just below where it says “Gruen”

I think this is a Marc Favre-made caliber. Basing that on click, setting mechanism, front plate stamps, and bridge layout. Haven’t found a Favre marked one with the 2 small finger bridges yet—only combined.


My two caveats:
1) I'm wrong many times a day --just ask my wife!
2) Always seeking to learn more
