The most creative idea I ever saw was at a watch show. The vendor was selling straps and had them displayed in an old wooden display that was originally for embroidery floss. I tried to buy it right there but she wouldn't even consider it. That gave me some ideas and I ended up with a vintage cabinet that had map drawers. They were the perfect depth for the collection.
