Making the insert from the velvet back of a picture frame is doable. But a shiny label with gold .
Yes, I own the same box w an original insert so I looked into it.
Unfortunately, L.F. Grammes & Son's (maker of the nameplates) disappeared about 1970, so you might have a hard time getting a hold of them.
The company began in 1876. Was founded by Louis F. Grammes, Allentown, PA. They made an unbelievable amount of metal products, around 12,000 different ones in 1927.
