I have a couple of these same type boxes (paper maché?) in 4.25 inch and 6.50 inch. One with gold trim. One with green. Although the green looks like it could be oxidized copper. Also no makers mark.

I would say definitely the same source. I've never seen this box before either. I'm "glad" to hear your boxes are also unmarked. I was thinking I must be missing something. I guess not.
