I thought I would run into a couple of Gruen folks there, given that this was the 80th anniversary of the organization. This was a great event, with well over 600 tables sold. I was volunteering on the Mart security team; this kept me busy and kept me from browsing and buying. The banquet dinner had one of the biggest turnouts that I've ever seen; I'd say over a thousand people were there. The restoration of the Big Ben clock was the speaker presentation.
