Wow! Awesome job as everyone has already said.

For the database entry itself, just suggesting, but wouldn't it be good to have the word "Wristlet" in the model name somewhere as that's how Gruen described them in the ads from 1928 (e.g. "Gruen Convertible Wristlet, plain or decorated"). It is also, obviously, what is shown on the box.

For indicating plate 49, would be good to have the book this plate is in? In the back there's a bit of a translation from "plate 49" to "Expansion wrist - Bascine Style" which I assume is how someone would go into a jewelry store and reference it. It may have been called "CB28" or other label too when it came to the public since that is the kind of name they were identified by.

The date range could perhaps be narrowed to 1918 as the book is from that date as were the ads that these first appeared in and when they seemed to be most popular.

I am unsure of how the database records are stored. If all of the discussion following the entry is included, then perhaps no additions needed as a future user will have all of this extra and explained text to go with it. If only the 1 page is kept, then a lot of detail is not shown to the person wanting info on their watch.

Take 'em or leave 'em suggestions Smile
