from the 1929 Guild Book (page 145) and the 1931 Supplement (pag 22A) I would ID your watch as the original Cartouche 384.
There are two ads which I found from old newspapers in June 1929 and December 1931 which to my opionion show your watch as is:
Just found it because I tried to ID my most recent purchase:
Looks like it has the same case which is correctly marked 165 / 74, but comes with a different dial and the caliber 165 movement (factory M, SN# 1424080). The serial number of my watch case is 2170823, so I guess mine is a later variant after 1931...
BTW: any one have a spare style 74 crystal or has a suggestion for a replacement type from GS or others?
