Hi and welcome to the Gruen forum. I'm sure you will find it an interesting place.

I have gone through the identification sources available to me and found your Veri-Thin model on page 153 of Bruce Shawkey's A Collector's Guide as "Strap 675". I have not been able to find a commercial model name for it, which doesn't mean that it didn't have one. Maybe one of the other Gruenites can help you there.

More information can be derived from the numbers on the case back. The Wadsworth case serial number starting with "L2" tells us that it was produced in the period 1951-1952 (1)
The second set of numbers "435-711" is showing two things. The first number tells you that the movement is caliber 435 and the second number is the so called Style Number. Style number 711 was produced from 1950 confirming the production date of the case. You can find a very clear explanation on Gruen style number logic on Mike Barnett's site GruenWristwatches.com (the link going directly to his tool).
