That does kind of stand out. In addition, the brushed finish on the center is horizontal, rather than the vertical orientation that Gruen originally used. The colors and lettering do seem correct though. Pity about the misspelling.

There is the beginning of wearthrough on the reverse of the lug tips, but the caseback is much better than most of these. Still a nice looking Curvex.
