Asking prices are just that. Wait for one to show up as a real auction. I got my Chrono-Timer that way. It was a nice clean SS example. I paid about $500 or so, and sold it for about the same. I know people ask big bucks, but with something as "routine" as a Chrono-Timer, I'd bide my time and wait for a true no reserve auction. You'll do a lot better. And when I say "routine," I realize they aren't exactly common, but they do show up a coupe times per year.
