Art is a member here but seems to have focused his forum participation elsewhere. I also emailed him and he sent his reply back via email but didn't offer anything that was overly insightful. He wrote, "Most of the Dietrich dial marked p.w. are from several high grade LeLocle sources not Gruen designs. Since they include a variety of complex and expensive movements not GRUEN designed I do not consider them GRUENs. Avoiding their expense."

All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me
