If anyone has one of these I will be beyond amazed. I need a case back for a Strap 802 which is the Gold color Triple date watch. The back I seek is steel

Actually, you haven't provided enough information because the Triple Date cases used both a screw and snap back.

Either way, prepare to be amazed because I got one of each. The gold case I have is a snap back while the Guildite case is a screw back, but I wouldn't put it past Gruen to have a gold Triple Date with a screw back.

PM me your address and which you want and I'll get it in the mail by the weekend.

Edit: I should also mention that I have an inner metal shield that goes between the movement and the case back. I think that it went with the snap but I'm not positive. That's yours as well if you want it.

OMG !!! I am going right out and buy a lottery ticket for this is obviously my lucky day. You are correct the Gold model has a snap back which is what I am seeking. They also made an import model in stainless steel that had a screw on back.
