Unfortunately those are the difficult ones to find. I got plenty of Tap 11 and the signed ones on eBay I have seen lately are also. Anyway, this is not helping is it Rolling Eyes

The tap 8's are difficult to find aren't they. I went thru a number of eBay sites w/out any luck but it seems that Jack may have found one for me. I think Mike Barnett indicated he had a small supply of them back in the old forum days so i may approach him if need be.

Not sure how difficult it is to modify a tap 8 stem to tap 10 or 11 with a die. As I have many signed Tap 10 and 11 crowns which I can't use today, I was thinking of buying dies. Jules Borel is selling them (page 315 in their Tools Catalog).

Not only do I have a tap 8 Gruen signed crown but I have the movement that Mikey owns. The question knowing now that these are as rare as hen's teeth: What to charge?
