Ladies All Star H, I think

I saw in another post that a watch like mine was called an All Star H, circa 1952. Those 50s ladies must have been bony; the bracelet is tiny compared to a modern watch!

I recently came across 3 Gruen watches all "New Old Stock" the watches have never been worn and have the original tags, box and prices on them from 1940. They all have been serviced and taken care of.

By providing pictures I was hoping you could help me identify each watch by model and movement and value. You guys are wizards at this and I can't wait to hear your opinions on each timepiece, sadly I only have 2 sets of photos, the third is on the way!

Bracelet : Gruen black leather/suede (period?), 17mm lugs.

Other info : Interesting that the battery retainer clip is likely from another watch movement. It shows 11 jewels while the movement itself is marked 13 jewels. Watch is in beautiful condition and runs very well at 28,800 BPH/ This ESA movement (called the Dynotron) was launched in 1967. While it wasn't the first watch movement to employ transistors (that honour goes to the Accutron), it was the first movement to employ both a transistor and a balance assembly.

a Quadron Siegerin

cal 157 in a sold gold case. I went after it but it sold for what I thought it'd go for. I spent my shekels last week on two watches and a book and just couldn't run it up that high. dang.

Anyone here by chance grab this one?

Siegerin if you've not seen the other post was the branch of Alpina being sold in Germany from about 1930 through 1940. The Alpina halmark is on the case with the mark for the gold content. Other Gruen shared movements have been under the Siegerin label but this is the first time I've seen a cal 157.

Look at the hairspring however... it is flat rather than an overcoil. Interesting.

sorry if my Q is stupid, but I just don't know. I purchased the movement (working) and want to put it in a nice case. The first 38mm case (verithin) was No good as the stem did not fit.

Do I have to purchase a particular style of case OF stem set etc.

By What name is the movement known? Is thee a Cal number?

I've recently been asked to help identify my late father's Gruen. I remember him wearing this piece in the '70s, but I don't know anything about the watch. Naturally, he didn't retain the original box or papers and the factory strap/bracelet is long gone. I received the two attached photos from my mother (forgive the blurriness) and would greatly appreciate any info that might point me in the right direction. Model name/number, movement details, approximate year of manufacture, etc.

This Christmas I was up with my great-uncle and we were organizing some of his closets. We came across this watch and he can't even remember when/where he got it. It's still in the original case and looks like it has never been used. No wear or scratches at all and probably is the original band. Winds and runs just fine including the switching between 1-12 to 13-24. I've wound it and let it run the past couple days and it is keeping perfect time. I'm just looking for more info. I think I have IDed it as a Gruen Airflight but it seems like there are a bunch of varieties of those out there and besides the ad below, I haven't seen one identical to this watch. Any info is appreciated (including value estimates). Thanks!
