Mine was a swiss Lucerne. I was 7 yrs young when I received it.
I still have it and it's on my wrist today...

Nice! Very pretty one for a young girl.

Age I got my first probably when I was ten. I don’t have mine anymore. It was a quartz and it had a blue strap, silver round case and white dial. Guess tossed away when the battery died. For sure bought at this store:

I don't know at which store my mom purchased it, but I'm certain it was a store in San Francisco.

I dont think so. In fact, in a sense, I see my first Gruen watch (which was my first mechanical watch) as my “first watch. My coin gold cartouche clarendon.

My dad does have his first watch. It does run (no jewels) but sits in a cupboard. It looks nice.
