I bought recently and use PayPal, the help sections also mentioned it.
The following payment methods, which are offered at eBay checkout, are allowed:
PayPal
PayPal Credit
Credit card or debit card
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Payment upon pickup
Payment upon pickup must offer one of the approved electronic payment methods. Listings may include the statement: "Contact me for payment methods to pay on pickup."

I haven't been on ebay for quite a while, but this past evening I began browsing and became aware that ebay is now inserting other sellers' items smack dab in the middle of another's sales post. I think this is outrageous! I don't understand why sellers aren't up in arms over this, or maybe sellers were and I missed it all?
I will now look for a more seller friendly option.

Speaking of eBay, boy do i gotta doozy.
Unfortunately, I purchased a Gruen that qualified for so called "eBay authentication" or whatever tf it's called. Well, when I pay for an overpriced watch, I want it asap, so I messaged the seller that as his customer, I would really like him to send it directly to me, that there's no one more qualified than me to "authenticate" it, absolutely 100% real I told him. True. Money clears my account- gone. He ships.
Well, he messages me in a panic saying eBay will not release his funds until it clears the "authenticator" first, that i must send it back to him so he can send it to be authenticated..,
Imagine how that convo went. No way I told him. I'm satisfied, its real, I paid for it, not letting some "watchmaker", somewhere, who knows where damage my watch, Blah blah blah...I just dunno, guys freaking out.

Oh, absolutely. We can all agree on that. Guy gotta get paid. And he will be. Did not mean to come off callous or unempathetic. I totally am. Was trying to highlight all the many things wrong with this eBay policy. My original comment was after I got an all caps message & just need to vent here. Calmed him down, we're working on it.
Snark, not many! Yup, they're special to me. Different people put different value on different things. I have watches I share. I have watches I don't share. But if ya didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there.👍
But I've never needed anyone to tell me what's cool, unique or irresistible in a Gruen. I already know. That said, there is a chance.🤷♀️😉🙂😂🤣🙏

One can only hope. I've yet to hear anything good about it.
