Here are some of the Gruen clocks I saw while browsing the vintage shop in the Cincinnati area. Love that Norwood clock!

The one I really like is the neon "Gruen World Time" clock.

That World Time has a great look! I also really like that Norwood one—but a bit steep for my wall.

Any Hershedes that have been sighted with Gruen cobranding? We’ve seen the Herschede family here, making the Ben Hur bands and MLB fobs.

But I came across something recently that says Herschede Hall Clocks were headquartered with Gruen at Time Hill when it opened and for some time thereafter.

I’ve seen (and own) some number of Frank Herschede PL Swiss watches. But they are from others—no Gruens yet. To find one that unites both would be a collaboration of Cincy’s finest time!

Those are Wadsworth. Is Herschede connected to Wadsworth somehow?

I dont have a Gruen clock, but would love to have one. But they are expensive and shipping is high. It is still on my list to create one… bought a simpel wall clock, led strip and collected some pictures of potential results. together with some paint, time and skill it could be the second best option to have one on my wall. Herschede designed it and filed/owned the patent. But he’d need someone to build it en masse. Enter Wadsworth.
