I have come across yet another brand new never been worn Gruen Watch from my local watch shop and am excited to hopefully learn what I can from you guys and gals!

That one is a Veri-Thin 'Marquis' likely from about 1948-49 and yes that is the correct original price tag according to Mike Barnett's Gruen Identification Guide, Vol #1.

Curious... Is that a Wadsworth made case? Looking at the other tag.
