I somehow sheared the winding stem for my daily wear cal 460SS. I apparently don't have a replacement in the parts drawer. Used it on the last 460.

Anyone have one and willing to send it my way?

Meanwhile, curious if I can get the remaining portion from the movement without tearing the whole thing apart.

Let me see if I have a stem for you. I bought a graveyard up parts recently with a whole bunch of stems. I'll check and see what I have.

People you thought were your best friends will stab you in the back to your face!

Love them anyway.

Maybe take the movement out and tackle this from the dial side? Much easier than taking the oscillating parts out.....only an ignorant guess? I have several of these as parts movements. CAn never keep them straight!

Well I certainly hope I have one for you. I won't know until I get home tomorrow. If worse comes to worse then maybe I can grab a used one out of an old movement

Tomas, I've two from other movements. Problem is they are two short. I'm really after a new one. Thank you for the offer, however, I'm going to see what Kurt has on offer. Cheers my friend!

Kurt... PM coming to you soon. Thank you!

OK... well I had a huge stash of parts come in tonight plus a rare bird from the San Diego Regional. Vial #13 has it, 470 must also be compatible.

index.php?t=getfile&id=3056&private=0index.php?t=getfile&id=3055&private=0It looks like the 460, or 462, and 470 all use the same stem. Sorry Jack, I just got back home tonight, but I do have the stem.
