I always thought the hands were pretty cool; just not THIS cool.
Was sitting at $880 something and in the last few seconds jumped to this-

The collectors spending 5k$ do not dive with their watches and I sometimes I think they ask for being cheated.
But anyway this style is highly sought after and prices are just like for the duo dials. Be it the Ocean Chief or a similar watch which might not be a diver.
I simply do not get it, but I do not get why a 80s Rolex or Omega or whatever is selling for 10k or more.

Don't know if these are hacks, both might be real. Just wanted to show the prices, these watches are sold at.
I have seen different bezels, the one with the 15 / 30 / 45 marking seems to be correct, I have seen watches with just the bars and no numbers , some with numbers every ten minutes.
I also don't know about the back. I have seen some with this back, some with a GRUEN GENEVE back.
Don't ask me which one is real, these watches are ways out of my desire at this price.

Monkee,
I agree with you completely.
I have no intention of purchasing one.
And still don't understand why people are calling some of these dive watches when they are not and paying way too much for them.
I already have a vintage '60's Zodiac Sea Wolf dive watch, but it's never going near water!

Some of the high end used watch sellers I know just rave over these watches and have customers who will pay big bucks for them. I think its just for the look and feel.
Off topic I do wear a modern wannabe Orient diver. What's nice about it is the lume, it lasts ALL night, no lifting the covers to look up see what time it is. Get a sneak peak on your arm and back to the long snooze.
Of course there is that wannabe beat up dive watch. There are forum threads that folks will put premature wear to them to make them look worn. Those are the crazy folks!
Here is my beater...

Yes I'm not sure why I'm attracted to it, came in a tub full of other beaters watches.
I'm looking into the link issue you are seeing. I have to ask the developer if that is part of the patch. There is another release coming soon, some really good features, specifically "Mobile optimization for small screens"
