I'd have been interested, but with less than a day's notice on a holiday weekend, I never saw it. Oh well.

I saw it yesterday, but I'm tapped out and could only have made an embarrassingly minimum bid. Sad

Same here, but sometimes I'll scramble together a plan when the right opportunity arises. Luckily, I didn't have to even try in this case.

Plus, been there, done that. I owned this one for a while in the early oughts. I had to have it. But after a while, it was too much money tied up in one watch.

This watch has shown up on a Facebook watch collectors group posted by the buyer. The buyer has several other of these jump-hours Quadrons. I've encouraged him to come here, but so far I've not seen him register. He has some nice eye candy that I know all of you would drool over.

if you are on FB, it is the Art Déco & Vintage American Wristwatches group.

Jon.... there seem to be some subtle differences in the sellers images and yours. i.e., the lines along the bezel next to the crystal. Sure it is the same watch?

No, definitely not the same watch. I just meant I've already had the pleasure of having a black dial jump-hour Techni-Quadron.
