File Upload Issues [message #11205] |

Tonight we ran a data consistency check on the database and optimized the SQL tables. I was able to upload files under 50kb but anything over that still throws an error. Our next step is to report this issue to our software vendor.
Sorry for the bad news as I hoped these checks would have cleared the issue.
Stay tuned...
Gary

Better news today. I contacted our host provider and they reconfigured security settings that I said might have been the issue, also recycled web services. Sure enough I was able to attach multiple images.
Fire away folks!

Liz, My blue cat takes some good pictures, film even. I still shoot medium format today through it.

Matt, yes I'm a star party hound, take week long trips deep into the Oregon mountains yearly now, family and all. We call it the Carl Sagan's Burning Man. I have several telescopes including a homebrew comet catcher I call "Atlanta", daughter of Artemis, goddess of the hunt. The mirror was utterly a pain to grind, never again!

Cool! Thank you for sharing!
I always feel privileged & enthralled when anyone here shares a slice of their non Gruen related interests or lives. Both photos are fantastic. I've made a lot of things but never a telescope. Sounds way tough.
I was born & raised in Oregon, Gary. Coos Bay, Southern Coast.
Here in the desert now.
We have lots of Dark Skies here too. Stars, planets, the universe was one of my passions that go way back to tinyhood. That and indigenous cultures. In fact, I love to mix the two. Recently saw some solstice/planet/star/sun related pictograph/petroglyphs that blew my mind.
Cheers!

Question:
Why are there so many downloads of our cat pics?
There have only been a handful of users online tonight.

Yes, and every view, even of returning users, counts as download.

Dan,
A good starter scope is a 6" dobsonian reflector, to be honest a scope like this will be with you for life. You can find them on Craigslist for good price. I've had this Orion dob for 14 years and it's great for any object but for planets it's stellar!
