By now, everyone has heard about the imminent demise of Yahoo Groups. I've been subscribed to many over the years and the loss of information will be significant. The biggest loss will be the interaction between people.

Some of the yahoo groups I've been subscribed to.

Meade Lx5/Lx6 Telescopes
Cookbook CCD Camera (classic)
Realistic DX Radios
Toyota Motorhomes
Walmart Rving
VLF Radio

Well you can tell I have way too many hobby/interests going on. Guess it's about time stuff starts going to the waste bin. Rolling Eyes

Horology Matters is moving to groups.io. It is all set up and running there, including the archive from yahoo.groups.

All I know is based on hard work & writing by others. I can only aspire to augment this body of knowledge. If I am wrong it is because of my own failings. -me

I know it won't be the telescope you use to declutter.
I still use my "Jason The Comet Chaser" that I got for xmas i think in 83!
It's made in Japan and is a classic. Smile
I know what you mean about its the interactions. That's part of why I come to this forum.

Seeing Halleys in 86 had a big impact on me.
